Who we are

Ordena is an operational consultancy registered in England. We operate at ordena.co.uk and can be contacted at hello@ordena.co.uk. References to "we", "us", or "Ordena" in this policy refer to this business.

What data we collect and why

We collect personal data only when you actively provide it. This includes:

• —Contact form submissions: name, email, business name, and your message. Used solely to respond to your enquiry.
• —Email list sign-ups: name and email address. Used to deliver the resource you requested and occasional operational content. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• —Diagnostic tool: if you provide your email address within the diagnostic, this is used to send your results. We do not share this data.
• —Purchase data: product purchases are processed by Gumroad. We receive confirmation of purchase but not your payment details. Gumroad's privacy policy applies to payment processing.

Legal basis for processing

We process your data under the following lawful bases under UK GDPR: contract (to fulfil a purchase or enquiry); legitimate interests (to respond to messages and maintain business records); and consent (for email marketing, which you can withdraw at any time).

How we store and protect your data

Contact form data is processed via Formspree and stored in our email. Email list data is held in Mailerlite, which is GDPR-compliant. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

How long we keep your data

Enquiry data is kept for up to 2 years or until the matter is resolved. Email list subscribers are retained until they unsubscribe. Client records are kept for 6 years in line with standard business practice.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; object to processing; and withdraw consent for marketing at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@ordena.co.uk.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
